About The Position

The Crew Scheduler is responsible for keeping current and accurate records of crew duty and rest activity. The Crew Scheduler will keep operational personnel informed of crew rest issues, scheduling conflicts, and legality concerns, which may arise. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with crew regulations.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate level computer knowledge and typing skills.
  • Ability to learn company operations software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age is 21 years.
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework is a plus.
  • Knowledge of airline and aviation terminology and/or aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks absences and assigns open flights to available Crew Members.
  • Ensures all schedule change notifications are accomplished.
  • Records all crew exceptions in the Crew Management System.
  • Assigns and books deadhead flights for on-duty crew movements.
  • Books hotel accommodations as required.
  • Maintains current and accurate records of crew duty and rest activity.
  • Informs operational personnel of crew rest issues, scheduling conflicts, and legality concerns.
