About The Position

This role involves two primary functions: Crew Scheduling and Travel Coordination. The Crew Scheduler is responsible for developing and publishing crew rosters in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, monitoring daily operations for coverage issues and delays, coordinating reserve crew assignments, and ensuring compliance with duty/rest limitations. The Travel Specialist arranges all travel logistics for crew members, partners with vendors, tracks reservations, and supports large-scale travel needs. The position also includes administrative and compliance support, such as maintaining accurate records, assisting with reports, supporting emergency response, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of FAA Part 117/121 regulations.
  • Ability to develop and publish crew rosters.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish crew rosters in accordance with FAA Part 117/121 regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor daily operations to address coverage issues, delays, and last-minute changes.
  • Coordinate reserve crew assignments and manage fatigue risk reporting and mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with duty/rest limitations and contractual obligations.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members regarding schedules, trip changes, and reassignments.
  • Assign qualified pilots and flight attendants to flights in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Arrange all travel logistics including flights, hotels, and ground transportation for crew members.
  • Partner with travel vendors and third-party coordinators to ensure efficient and cost-effective arrangements.
  • Track travel reservations and maintain a real-time log of crew locations and accommodations.
  • Support large-scale travel needs for training and special operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew assignments and travel per regulatory and internal audit standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports on crew utilization, travel costs, and scheduling metrics.
  • Support emergency response planning and crew relocation efforts during irregular operations or weather events.
  • Collaborate with training, payroll, and HR teams to align travel and scheduling logistics.
  • Monitor pilot and flight attendant legalities, rest periods, block hours, and flight time.
  • Additional job duties will be assigned based on business needs and shifting company priorities.
