The Fat Hen - Crew Member
About The Position
The Fat Hen is a new fast-casual chicken joint coming to Flagstaff, serving up crispy chicken, cold drinks, and seriously good hospitality. Brought to you by the Salsa Brava, Fat Olives & Fat Bagels family. We’re looking for energetic, dependable people to join our opening team as Crew Members. This is a fully cross-trained position, so you won't be stuck doing the same thing every day. Crew Members will learn multiple areas of the restaurant, including cooking, food prep, drive-thru, cashier, order assembly, and guest service. If you like staying busy, working with a team, and taking care of people, you'll fit right in.
Requirements
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests

- Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality or accuracy
- Willing to learn both guest-facing and kitchen positions
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally
- Willing to clean, stock, prep, cook, and help wherever needed
- Able to stay productive during both busy and slower periods
- Positive, coachable, and willing to learn

- Restaurant experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook chicken, sides, sandwiches, and other menu items
- Complete daily food prep and restock stations
- Work the drive-thru, including taking orders, processing payments, and handing out orders
- Greet guests and take orders at the front counter
- Assemble, check, and package dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and delivery orders
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures
- Keep workstations, equipment, dining areas, and the restaurant clean and organized
- Restock supplies and complete opening, closing, and shift sidework
- Communicate with teammates to keep orders moving quickly and accurately
- Jump in wherever needed during busy periods
- Create a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest
