About The Position

Jersey Mike's Subs is hiring part-time and full-time Crew Members and Shift Leaders to deliver a one-of-a-kind customer service experience. This role offers an opportunity to become part of Jersey Mike's vibrant organization, emphasizing fun and sharing life with others. The company provides in-house training on its business model and culture. Crew Members at JM TEAM MONMOUTH (dba Jersey Mike’s) will assist customers, work the front counter, handle customer service, make sandwiches, and interact with customers and co-workers. They will also be responsible for completing other tasks associated with operating a store, with the expectation to uphold the highest level of all Jersey Mike’s operational standards.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Nice To Haves

• 0-1 year experience in food service
• 0-1 year experience in cash handling

Responsibilities

• Provide food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high-quality standards
• Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer
• Maintain a clean store and workplace
• Set up of the store, including food preparation
• Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only)
• Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)
• Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities
