About The Position

SavATree is seeking passionate individuals to join our General Tree Care Team as Groundspersons. This role involves working outdoors on beautiful properties, contributing to the health and preservation of clients' landscapes through high-quality tree care. Team members will be involved in all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care concepts, operating equipment safely and providing excellent client service.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Valid U.S Driver’s license, CDL a plus.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work together on a General Tree Care crew to provide high-quality tree care.
• Participate in all aspects of pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned job tasks.
• Provide excellent service to clients.
