About The Position

The Installation Laborer installs exterior lighting on commercial buildings and residential homes. Work includes hanging lights from the ground, ladders, or aerial lifts on houses, buildings, trees, and shrubs. The role also installs interior and exterior holiday décor, including wreaths, trees, garland, and light displays. It involves working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive tasks and may require responding to work requests at any time of day. The position is seasonal, with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Requirements

Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonality of the position and respond to work requests at all times of day.
Previous installation experience.
Valid Iowa driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to reach, push, climb, kneel, lift up to 75 pounds, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, and during adverse weather conditions as workload and schedule warrant.
Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and communicate with employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

Install interior and exterior holiday décor, including wreaths, trees, garland, and light displays.
Hang lighting while working on the ground, on ladders, or using aerial lifts on houses, buildings, trees, and shrubs.
Load and unload products from the warehouse onto work vehicles.
Communicate necessary information to the supervisor to complete job orders.
Monitor work orders and confirm details to ensure customer selections are processed correctly.
Maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe operational condition.
Ensure customer sites are clean and orderly when services are completed.
Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
Perform work in accordance with industry and company standards and uphold company values.
Perform other related or assigned duties in Wright Outdoor Solutions service areas.
