This role is responsible for orienting and instructing new drivers, assisting the supervisor in assigning and directing work, and ensuring the proper flow of vehicles. The Crew Leader will maintain logs of vehicle stock numbers and lot locations, communicate schedules and assignments to the crew, and manage vans for timely pick-up and drop-off of employees and vehicles. This position also involves performing daily maintenance and routine checks of the van, demonstrating a commitment to safety, and working with management to review work volumes, plan staffing, and monitor departmental performance against key performance indicators. The Crew Leader is expected to lead the team by example, champion Cox/Manheim values, and enforce company policies and procedures. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
