About The Position

The Town of Prosper is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of Crew Leader - Meters. This role leads assigned staff in the installation, replacement, programming, and maintenance of residential and commercial water meters and meter transmitting units (MTUs). The position ensures timely completion of work orders, accurate meter reads for billing, repair of meter components, and inventory control of supplies to support reliable water service delivery.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in water meter reading, maintenance, installation, and repair experience.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Possession of a Class C Water Distribution license.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
