About The Position

We are looking for charismatic, high-energy individuals who want to bring the “Everyday should feel this good” vibe to life on the sales floor. As a Crew Lead, you will coach, train, and develop the team to be ultimate Brand Ambassadors. With a focus on community, you will identify opportunities within and outside the store. You will work side-by-side with the management team to ensure each customer interaction is unique and tailored to their needs. This role supports store leadership in strategic managerial tasks required to run a retail location, leveraging leadership skills while continuing to develop, teach, and harness potential as a good life guide.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year’s work experience in retail leadership, or equivalent role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Charismatic personality and a love for the vineyard vines brand and community.
  • Proven track record in driving sales with strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Has experience and passion for leading and mentoring a team.
  • Team focused, confident and professional.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and/or move around for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, unless an accommodation is requested.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • 20-30 hours/week average to maintain part-time status.
  • 25-40 hours/week average during seasonal peak periods for Seasonal Stores.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales to support the store in meeting/exceeding store financial goals and metrics by creating memorable, lasting impressions with our customers.
  • Host the party while effectively communicating vineyard vines core values to our customer through our team.
  • Regularly exemplify our values of: Passion, Service, Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork and Fun.
  • Execute the fundamentals of “door to floor” concept through receiving of shipment to execution of setting the floor with new inventory.
  • Focus on people development and training, providing on-going and consistent training with current and new Crew around product, presentation and process through coaching in the moment and on-boarding.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store.
  • Take on a Division of Responsibility (DOR) which are distinct responsibilities assigned to leaders within the store to ensure clarity around execution of work and support development and growth. DOR’s are not a title or position but opportunities for individuals to progress within their role. DOR’s will rotate.
