About The Position

The Creeler is primarily responsible for creeling assigned yarns on correct knitting machines in an efficient and safe manner. This role involves managing yarn transfers, handling empty cones, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The Creeler must be able to verify yarn information with knitting tickets and collaborate effectively with knitters and mechanics.

Requirements

• Ability to read and verify yarns printed on knitting tickets with Knitter and Knitting Mechanic.
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creel twelve (12) machines total.
• Keep yarn from being damaged while transferring from yarn boxes to yarn pin trucks.
• Stack yarn on yarn pin trucks only one layer above top row of pins.
• Remove empty cones and break down yarn boxes.
• Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
