Job Description: This job is responsible for supporting Credit Officers on a daily basis in the underwriting, monitoring, and management of their portfolios. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end processes involving credit underwriting, ongoing monitoring, and portfolio management of financing, treasury management, and traded products transactions. Job expectations include acting as a primary liaison with the credit teams, operations, and other business partners. This role supports the end-to-end credit management process for Custom Mortgage, partnering with Private Client Advisors/Managers, Mortgage Consultants, and Residential Real Estate Specialists. Acts as a primary liaison with the Private Bank Client teams, credit underwriters, and others who support the Private Bank. Assists underwriters by managing incoming business loan engagements, ensuring the request is complete and adding to the document tracking system. Performs a variety of credit related tasks following prescribed guidelines; assists in the day-to-day communication with sales pertaining to loan approvals in process. Support team by assisting managers in the completion of special projects as required. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Develops new and continuously reviews existing procedures and technology for more efficient workflows and drives implementation as applicable.
