This role focuses on data analytics and reporting within the Data Analytics & Reporting job family group. The Credit Strategy Analyst III will be responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive reporting and monitoring of portfolio credit quality, operations, and performance. This includes designing and executing analyses using programming and statistical software to assess new credit risk trends, and conducting quantitative analysis to support improvements in credit strategy and policy. The analyst will also provide data, reporting, and analysis to support the Indirect business as needed, proactively identify opportunities to improve data and automate analytic processes, and conduct analyses of large datasets using descriptive and predictive techniques to provide insights and recommendations. The role involves understanding and articulating business cases, designing dashboards and analyses, identifying trends and patterns, and collaborating with other data and analytics professionals to scale solutions. Additionally, the analyst will build reporting dashboards, research and apply continuous improvement in data visualization, translate business needs to technical specifications, develop visualizations for large datasets, document data flow and processes, and develop tools and training programs for non-analytical users. The focus is primarily on the business/group within BMO, with a potential for broader enterprise-wide focus. The role provides specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support, requiring independent judgment to solve problems and handle non-routine situations. It also involves taking measured risks and applying the Risk Management Framework.
