As a Credit Analyst I, you will ensure effective credit risk management through oversight of borrower analysis, underwriting practices, and overall portfolio quality. You will operate as an effective communicator, able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. You will develop and deliver credit recommendations that align with organizational risk appetite and business objectives. You will oversee portfolio performance, ensuring proactive monitoring of loan quality, covenant compliance, and emerging risks. You will be an active participant in maintaining guidelines, structure, and established policies as you work with and for others. You will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to support relationship growth while maintaining disciplined credit standards. You will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and enterprise risk management frameworks. You will provide leadership and direction to credit analysts, fostering consistency, accountability, and continuous development across the function. The Credit Analyst will provide full service to Relationship Managers statewide, through analyzing basic commercial loan requests, identifying strengths and weaknesses, providing recommendations, and noting any deviations from the Loan Policy as appropriate.
