Credit Risk Analyst – Funds Team
About The Position
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client – a well-established global financial institution – for the position of Credit Risk Analyst within the Funds Team. The Warsaw office plays an important role in supporting international operations and continues to grow as a key hub within the organization. About the Role You will join a global team responsible for assessing and managing credit exposure to a wide range of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity, pension funds, and mutual funds. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit risk and develop a strong understanding of how global financial markets and investment strategies work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student)
- Strong interest in financial markets and data analysis
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of accounting or financial analysis
- Good Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, or R is a plus
Responsibilities
- Source and analyze financial data related to investment funds
- Liaise with investment advisors and fund managers
- Maintain and update key risk metrics (e.g. NAV, fund performance)
- Monitor portfolio data and support reporting processes
- Analyze industry trends and performance benchmarks
- Collaborate with global risk and portfolio management teams
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to risk-related decisions
