The purpose of this classification is to perform work functions associated with locating, notifying, and securing payments from customers with delinquent accounts. This role involves sending notices, conferring with customers to determine reasons for overdue payments, documenting correspondence, and processing payments. The Credit Representative is also responsible for maintaining and balancing a cash drawer, traveling to customers' homes for collections and repossessions (with approval), preparing paperwork for legal action, and initiating credit investigations under the direction of the Credit Manager. Additionally, the position includes logging work activities, operating office equipment, logging customer service requests, scheduling repairs, assisting customers on the sales floor, maintaining sales quotas, and complying with customer service standards. The role also requires upholding and promoting the company's H.O.M.E. values.
