Create lesson plans and teach to the entire class and individually or in small groups, track student progress, and work within district administration policies, guidelines, and standards of learning. This role requires knowledge of curriculum design, teaching methods, and understanding of human behavior and learning. The teacher will adapt instructional methods to individual student needs, maintain accurate records, implement disciplinary plans, and foster social-emotional development. Communication with parents, participation in team meetings (IEP, 504), and adherence to reporting policies are also key aspects of this position.
