About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Officer for its Wilmington, Delaware location. This role involves performing quantitative and statistical analyses to identify high-risk pockets and emerging risks. The officer will design credit tests and develop underwriting and line assignment strategies. A key responsibility is to develop a framework for portfolio risk assessment, including the evaluation of credit and financial performance in credit card products, and recommend requisite strategies for tightening and expansion within risk appetite. The role also entails developing analytical insights and reporting to measure and monitor acquisition performance, interpret trends, and explain key drivers to the leadership team. Ensuring flawless timely execution of robust compliant policies is crucial. The officer will evaluate partnerships based on an understanding of cards and lending profit and loss dynamics. This position requires leveraging knowledge of applicable credit policies and industry regulations, and analyzing the impact of these governance elements on product initiatives. The role utilizes Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial, and data analyses, including profiling, sampling, forecasting, and new program due diligence. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Credit Risk Analyst, Data Analyst, Risk Manager, or related position involving quantitative and statistical analyses for risk management.
  • 5 years of experience must include: Credit risk management

Responsibilities
