The anticipated salary range for this role is between $250,000.00 and $250,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees. Role Description The Director is responsible for leading credit underwriting and portfolio management activities within Credit Portfolio Management, including oversight of portfolio monitoring, transaction execution, risk ratings, US Regulatory Classification, and exposure management. The role manages a team of credit professionals, drives consistent credit practices, ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and supports proactive portfolio risk management and decision-making. The Director will have oversight responsibilities for Industry Vertical with more than 10 direct and indirect reports
