Develop reports and analysis on various loan portfolios for processes such as concentration analysis, portfolio performance, etc. Provide support to routine and ad-hoc credit administration deliverables and analytical insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 3+ years experience.
  • Experience in quantitative methods/techniques, statistics, predictive modeling, data science or other analytical disciplines, required.

  • Solid understanding of lending practices and processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lending software, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Oracle BI, Tableau, Microsoft Access, or similar applications, preferred.
  • Credit Risk Management work experience, inclusive of loss forecasting within a regional financial institution is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in all aspects of the credit analytics, reporting, data mining, methodologies; ensuring proper support for all reserving requirements (quantitative and qualitative) associated with decisions
  • Analyzes and reports on credit memo and write-off activity and monitors and communicates credit concerns to management
  • Provide support to ensure documentation is completed for internal and external stakeholders, and that effective change management is in place
  • Identify and execute opportunities for process improvement and standardization across business lines for the organization
  • Drive standard definitions around key data elements and identify and support projects related to achieving data consistency, availability and quality
  • Provide support and assist in driving the identification and implementation of technology solutions to reduce manual processes, enhance controls, improve cycle times, and support consistency where practical
  • Collaborate with leadership to enable an efficient data capture, reporting, and forecasting process
  • Conduct special studies on targeted portfolio risks; analyze and recommend changes to data improvement, portfolio setting and other key parameter settings such as correlation structure, probability of default/loss given default correlation, loan prepayment, etc.
