About The Position

Responsible for preparation of credit assessment and other administrative matters in connection with credit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university.
  • Three to seven years of related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review the credit application and all calculations presented, the appraisal report, the environmental report, the rent roll, the lease agreements, the preliminary title report, the financial statements, the tax returns, the corporate documents, compliance requirements and compliance clearance.
  • Complete the appraisal review for new loan applications.
  • Prepare the credit assessment for new credit proposals and credit renewals.
  • Communications with frontline teams on collecting the required documents to process a loan as well as revising the credit proposals.
  • Recommend commercial loan and trade service transactions in the GCMS loan system (collateral, customer rating, facility rating, credit limit, loan agreement and loan advances).
  • Review and update Bankpoint for pipeline reporting/tracking purpose of new loans.
  • Call back after a new loan booking including completion of the required closing checklist.
  • Participate in property inspections.
  • Assist to review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with law and Bank policy.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.
  • Observe strictly the code of ethics of the Department/Bank.
