This job is responsible for managing employees who drive the client credit relationship, including the full credit process and leading parts of the credit deal lifecycle such as application, structuring, approval, due diligence, documentation, closing, and monitoring. Key responsibilities include partnering with business teams, providing credit expertise, and ensuring policy compliance, data accuracy, and timely execution. Job expectations include managing Senior Credit Specialists and Analysts. The role leads a credit support team partnering with senior Credit Officers across Asset Managers and Hedge Funds, helping deliver robust underwriting support, portfolio monitoring and well-controlled execution across traded products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in institutional banking, Global Markets, credit, risk, operations or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience leading, mentoring or formally managing colleagues in a performance-focused team environment.
  • Knowledge of traded product documentation such as ISDA, MSFTA, Repo Agreements, MRA and credit agreements.
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with credit/risk systems and BI or automation tools is advantageous.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of market risk and counterparty credit risk concepts such as stress testing, sensitivities and concentration risk.
  • Experience reviewing fund prospectuses and identifying key risk considerations.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, identify trends or inconsistencies, and translate findings into practical improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
