About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Credit Development Instructor to join their team in Midvale, Utah. This role is responsible for developing, administering, coordinating, and delivering credit training to employees across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit, compliance, policies, and procedures, and the ability to enhance employee knowledge and skills to optimize performance. This is an in-office position, 5 days a week, located at the Zions Technology Center.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's in Finance, Business or a related field and 2+ years of lending, credit, banking, credit training practices and procedures or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Working knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, credit processes and procedures, lending laws and regulations, training practices, principles, applications, and methods as they pertain to credit training.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and finance.
  • Ability to facilitate courses and instruct lenders.
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite for reporting, documentation, and presentations.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to achieve training goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively assist other team members.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and strong professional code of ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, administration, coordination, and delivery of credit training to enterprise-wide employees.
  • Conducts training sessions.
  • Develops, locate and/or deliver training programs to enhance knowledge and skills required to optimize individual and company performance.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of credit, compliance, policies, and procedures.
  • Investigates and recommends effective training methods and procedures.
  • Provides managers and supervisors with the assistance needed to implement effective credit techniques in their areas.
  • Assists employees in developing their individual credit skills for current job and in preparation for future assignments.
  • Maintains records on all training provided.
  • Tracks the progress and performance of those involved in the credit training process.
  • Disseminates information on available training courses.
  • Responsible to recommend attendance by appropriate individuals.
  • Takes responsibility for training equipment and materials.
