JOB CODE AND FUNCTIONAL TITLE: Mortgage Finance Client Management Group – Client Management Senior Analyst (Level 6) Job Profile Summary: A Mortgage Finance Client Management Senior Analyst will serve as a collaborative team resource, providing expertise, mentorship, and operational leadership to a team of Client Management Analysts while maintaining primary responsibility for direct client management of complex engagements. This role requires exceptional analytical, technical, and legal expertise to manage complex client scenarios, sophisticated regulatory interpretations, and ProMerit system mastery. The Senior Analyst combines advanced loan and legal documentation analysis with technical system configuration expertise to ensure accurate client funding deployment while providing mentorship to junior team members The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional expertise in analytical problem-solving, complex decision-making with appropriate stakeholder consultation, and the ability to elevate team capabilities through mentoring and knowledge-sharing. This role combines deep technical expertise with the ability to provide direction, quality oversight, and professional development guidance to team members, while remaining primarily focused on their complex client portfolio and sophisticated client relationship management.

Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse lending, loan operations, or mortgage finance industry, with demonstrated expertise in loan and legal documentation analysis, compliance/regulatory matters, process optimization, and increasing levels of responsibility
Track record of progressing from Client Management Analyst level to taking on more complex client relationships and emerging team support responsibilities
Advanced technical proficiency in financial systems (ProMerit, Signature, SalesForce, or equivalent systems) and mastery-level Excel capabilities including data analysis, reporting, formula development, and data modeling
Demonstrated understanding of warehouse lending client business models, mortgage originator operations, and TCB's service delivery capabilities and competitive positioning
Advanced knowledge of warehouse lending legal documents, regulatory requirements, and mortgage originator business models
Demonstrated leadership in process improvement or system enhancement projects with measurable outcomes
Strong track record supporting successful audit processes and compliance reviews
Evidence of mentoring or supporting other team members on complex technical matters or skills development
Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships with minimal management oversight
Demonstrated strategic communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

Manage a complex portfolio of strategic client relationships, conducting in-depth analysis of sophisticated loan documentation, credit authorizations, and legal agreements to identify risks, inconsistencies, and regulatory implications; provide strategic insights and recommendations that influence cross-functional decision-making while consulting with management on strategic policy matters or novel interpretations.
Exercise informed judgment on complex client scenarios and ambiguous regulatory requirements, making substantive determinations on compliance implications and operational approaches; seek management consultation on strategic policy questions, precedent-setting matters, or decisions with significant business implications, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and risk appetite.
Leverage advanced analytical and technical expertise to conduct multi-layered analysis of interconnected client, regulatory, and operational issues; identify root causes, evaluate sophisticated alternatives, and develop solutions with measurable business impact; synthesize large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities across client portfolios.
Lead the preparation and comprehensive review of complex legal documentation packages based on credit approvals, negotiated client terms, and multi-faceted deal structures, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with TCB's compliance standards and client business objectives. Serve as a quality resource for the team on document preparation best practices, providing guidance on non-standard scenarios and identifying documentation patterns that may impact client funding operations or introduce risk
Serve as a knowledge resource and mentor to Client Management Analysts, providing guidance on complex scenarios, regulatory interpretations, and technical skills; share best practices, quality standards, and analytical approaches; support team members' professional development and capability growth; execute training initiatives and quality assurance activities.
Coordinate with team members and management on priorities, workload distribution, and resource allocation; identify emerging team issues or capability gaps and escalate appropriately; support team quality and consistency through collaborative problem-solving; provide input on team performance and professional development opportunities.
Independently determine prioritization across own complex client engagements and coordinate with team regarding shared priorities; manage competing deadlines and initiatives; escalate to management when priorities conflict with organizational strategy or require management guidance.
Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying operational gaps, proposing scalable solutions, and monitoring effectiveness; translate findings into actionable enhancements that benefit the team and broader organization; drive operational excellence through systematic evaluation and refinement.
Provide quality oversight and guidance on team deliverables; model high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service; review complex team scenarios and provide technical guidance; support audit readiness activities and documentation coordination across the team.
Serve as primary contact on complex matters for key strategic clients; communicate with clients at multiple organizational levels, translating between operational details and strategic objectives; facilitate client escalations and complex issue resolution with appropriate management involvement.
Develop and maintain advanced expertise in warehouse lending, regulatory requirements, client business models, and TCB's service capabilities; stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes; contribute to team knowledge base and organizational thought leadership on complex client and regulatory matters.
Lead end-to-end client onboarding strategy in ProMerit, designing comprehensive profile configurations that align sophisticated client business models with accurate system deployment.
Conduct advanced analysis of complex client structures, multi-facility scenarios, and intricate legal documentation to determine optimal ProMerit configurations that maximize funding accuracy and operational efficiency.
Proactively optimize existing client profiles, identifying opportunities to enhance system configurations that improve funding accuracy, streamline daily operations, or align with evolving client business needs.
Serve as ProMerit subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance to team members on complex onboarding decisions and troubleshooting configuration issues that impact client funding deployment.
Mentor junior team members on ProMerit best practices, onboarding workflows, and system configuration principles; provide guidance on complex profile requirements and emerging system challenges.
Identify gaps in current ProMerit configuration processes and propose system enhancements or procedural improvements that strengthen onboarding accuracy and client funding operational effectiveness.
Participate in collaborative internal discussions on system capabilities and limitations, translating client business requirements into accurate ProMerit configurations that support their funding and operational objectives.
Validate complex system configurations against multifaceted client documentation, regulatory requirements, and TCB's deployment standards; ensure all configurations support accurate client funding before deployment.
