About The Position

Wilson Trailer Company, a leading manufacturer of Grain, Livestock, Gooseneck and Flatbed Truck Trailers, is looking for Credit Clerk. This is a full-time position in the credit department located in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. The Credit Clerk Performs administrative and financial research support such as evaluating customer creditworthiness, investigating credit applications and history, and resolving credit problems. Assists in collection activities, follows up with customers on overdue accounts, and documents daily activities. Work follows standard procedures and is closely supervised.

Requirements

• Eighteen years of age minimum.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Competent, able to employ computer software capably.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English language.
• Functional vision, normal or corrected.
• Functional hearing and speech.
• Ability to report to work punctually at the beginning of the workday.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to use keyboard and use of mouse or alternative input device(s).
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to meet physical demands.

Nice To Haves

• One year data entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submits and monitors ACH payments.
• Posts customer payments and balances accounts.
• Ensures incoming customer titles are correct and files customer paperwork.
• Assists in new title paperwork process.
• Assists with new contract preparation, under direction of Credit Manager.
• Follows up with customers on overdue accounts, including letters of notice &/or outbound calls
• Assists with Wilson Trailer Co credit application process for Lines of Credit, under direction of Credit Manager.
• Documents daily credit activities.
