About The Position

The US LBM Credit Associate is responsible for the credit collection process, managing credit applications, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, mitigating credit risks, and maintaining positive relationships with customers. This role performs routine clerical support for the local credit team, assists with local lien processes and procedures, gathers and inputs job information into systems, and assists Accounts Receivable (AR) customers with questions and issues. The associate will also prepare periodic reports on AR and past due status, complete and document collection calls, and escalate AR issues as appropriate. Adherence to the company's commitment to workplace safety is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience with credit collections or similar.
  • MS Office experience required.
  • Ability to work on highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of collections and lien holder laws preferred.
