Requirements

• One to three years of experience as a credit analyst
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, agribusiness, or other related fields of study
• Possess a working knowledge of a variety of small business and commercial loans along with some exposure to agricultural loan structures
• Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize and categorize data in various formats for reports
• Skills in credit and cash flow analysis (including global cash flows), balance sheet analysis, profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency – Ideal candidate would have experience with all Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel, Zoom and Teams for attending/scheduling meetings, and PDF editing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with loan analysis software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will underwrite larger consumer mortgage/construction requests in addition to ag/commercial
• Providing recommendations and feedback to lenders and to loan committee(s) based on information and experience/knowledge base
• Recommending, when necessary, basic lending structure and covenants to develop and sustain more advanced/complicated customer relationships
• Working closely with a team of Loan Officers to ensure the accuracy and relevance of written summaries and credit requests
• Checking for compliance on loan agreements and perform collateral reviews
• Performing various other duties and projects assigned by Senior and Executive Management
• Providing basic leadership among co-workers, in coordination with the Credit Manager
