Requirements

  • Financial Statement Analysis – Strong ability to interpret and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to assess financial performance and creditworthiness.
  • Credit Risk Assessment – Demonstrated ability to identify financial strengths, weaknesses, and key risk indicators, including recognizing common red and green flags within financial data.
  • Analytical Problem Solving – Skilled at evaluating complex situations, defining issues, determining their significance, and developing sound conclusions based on available information.
  • Critical Thinking & Decision Making – Uses financial data, logic, and business judgment to make informed recommendations and risk-based decisions.
  • Financial & Accounting Knowledge – Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, financial concepts, and terminology relevant to credit analysis and commercial lending.
  • Credit Analysis Expertise – Knowledge of credit analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques used to evaluate borrower risk and financial health.
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, validity, and consistency while identifying discrepancies or concerns.
  • Quality Assurance & Validation – Applies structured review processes, verification techniques, and cross-checking methods to ensure high-quality and accurate analysis outputs.
  • Data Accuracy & Integrity – Proven ability to verify and validate customer financial and loan information, ensuring data reliability and compliance with established standards.
  • Systems & Process Management – Experience maintaining accurate records and managing information within loan origination systems and other financial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews the credit history, profitability and liquidity of clients to assess the risk level involved in credit extension or money lending.
  • Consults with customers to verify financial and credit transactions; responds to customer inquiries and resolves customer complaints.
  • Communicates with credit associations and other relevant authorities about the credit history of customers.
  • Analyzes financial data to determine customers' risk profile for commercial loans; recommends approval or denial of loan applications.
