CNB Bank, Credit Analyst
About The Position
Credit Analysts are committed and significantly influential to the commercial lending process, assisting business development officers and members of management to make timely lending decisions that are beneficial to the Bank. In this position, a credit analyst reviews and analyzes business financial statements, personal financials, credit bureaus, debt schedules, collateral values, and industry trends to prepare concise and accurate reports for approval by management. Senior analysts may be asked to support in the training of junior analysts, as well as to assist department management in preparing reports for Senior Management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents.
- Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization.
- Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
- Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use.
- Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction system, loan origination system and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to calculate and understand financial ratios.
- Ability to calculate and understand cash flow.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
Nice To Haves
- secondary education (i.e. Associates Degree or higher) is preferred
- Prior analyst experience is not required but it preferred

- Prepare Reports for the Annual Review of Revolving Lines of Credit
