Conduct thorough financial analysis of applicants, including reviewing financial statements and tax returns to assess creditworthiness. Evaluate the strength of collateral offered by applicants to secure credit, ensuring its adequacy and relevance in mitigating credit risk. Conduct due diligence on potential clients, verifying information provided and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Retrieve and analyze consumer credit reports. Assess the credit risk associated with each application, taking into consideration factors such as ability to repay, payment history, debt levels, and industry trends. Prepare detailed credit packages and maintain accurate documentation of the credit analysis process. Prepare compliance reports for collateral monitoring and associated maintenance, as needed. Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit decisions. Assist in all other functions of client service including origination, maintenance, and retention of client portfolios.
