About The Position

Perform all assigned appraisal reviews across Axos business verticals. Oversee the order, review, and general processing of appraisals for the Credit and Lending departments.

Requirements

• Bachelors
• 1+ years of appraisal experience

Responsibilities

• Complete non-complex to moderately complex evaluations and appraisal reviews within SLA; Complete administrative task and ad hoc requests as needed by SLA.
• Track appraisal requests to ensure completion in a timely manner and process the completed reviews ensuring they meet bank compliance standards.
• Assist managers and underwriters with appraisal related issues and provide clear communication on such issues as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide written summaries and feedback on reviewed appraisals, document issues and suggest necessary revisions.
• When necessary, provide and develop a second opinion of value.
• Ensure that an accurate and reliable opinion of value that reflects the market value, condition, and marketability of the subject property in compliance with guidelines and standards is received in order to mitigate collateral risk; Verify that all appraisals are conducted impartially and without bias.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
