The 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program - Credit Analyst role is within the C&I General Industries Banking team, which focuses on growing a portfolio of existing and prospective clients with both treasury management banking services and various types of lending. This team targets lower middle market and middle market companies with a typical revenue target of $20MM+. As a Credit Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for spreading, managing, and maintaining financial background information on present and prospective customers. You will develop credit studies for Loan Officers, the Chief Credit Officer, and other Executive Management. Your responsibilities include managing spread assignments, conducting financial analyses, and maintaining related records and files. A key part of this role is the preparation of a variety of credit department reports. You will support the Credit Administration team in analyzing credit and collateral information to determine the risk involved in lending money to customers. This involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing company financials to ensure Bank compliance and updating the Bank’s systems accordingly. You will also work directly with clients to resolve compliance issues and operational inquiries, review client financials, and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk in connection with Bank structures. The role requires preparing in-depth reports with plans of action based on qualitative and quantitative research, collaborating cross-functionally with Bank groups to execute treasury management products, foreign exchange instruments, derivatives, and legal documents. You will produce loan packages for new and restructured loans, facilitate reporting and requests on behalf of the Bank with third parties (e.g., field auditors, appraisers), and monitor loan disbursements to ensure compliance with Bank regulations.
