This job is responsible for partnering with a credit team to support underwriting and ongoing monitoring for new and existing clients. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing credit analysis to assess creditworthiness and risk, using multiple tools and systems to support underwriting/monitoring, and drafting financial analysis for approval and monitoring materials. Job expectations include independent analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, including financial statements, projections, industry data, covenant compliance, collateral documentation, and policy requirements. The Special Assets Group (SAG) manages the Bank's criticized, classified, and distressed commercial credit portfolio. SAG's primary objective is to maximize recoveries, minimize loss severity, and execute effective resolution strategies that protect the Bank's interests while preserving long-term enterprise value where appropriate. The Credit Analyst III serves as a key analytical partner to SAG Portfolio Officers in the management of assigned credits. The analyst performs comprehensive financial, credit, and portfolio analysis to assess borrower performance, identify emerging risks, develop recommendations, and inform the development and execution of resolution strategies.
