Credit Analyst II

Glacier Bancorp, Inc.•Bozeman, MT

About The Position

Credit Analyst II serves as the senior technical underwriting resource within the credit organization. The position handles complex commercial relationships, advanced credit analysis, portfolio risk management, and leadership within the analyst team. As a subject matter expert and mentor, the Credit Analyst II promotes consistency and credit quality across assigned lending teams. The role independently leads underwriting for large, complex, specialized, sensitive, or higher-risk new and renewed commercial credit relationships. It conducts advanced cash-flow analysis—including global cash-flow evaluation, stress testing, sensitivity analysis, and debt-capacity modeling—and brings borrower, guarantor, collateral, industry, market, concentration, policy, structure, and repayment considerations together in clear credit recommendations. The analyst partners with Relationship Managers and credit leadership to evaluate transaction structure and risk mitigants, and serves as a primary credit partner to assigned lending teams. The position provides technical guidance, reviews junior analysts’ work as assigned, and mentors and develops analysts. It leads or supports management of complex and higher-risk credit relationships, including reviews, covenant monitoring, borrower-reporting follow-up, risk-rating assessments, and action plans. The role also supports examinations, audits, loan reviews, credit initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements. The employee is expected to provide professional internal and external customer service, follow bank policies and applicable laws and regulations, complete required training, maintain confidentiality, and attend work regularly and predictably. The work is routinely performed indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise. The role uses routine office equipment and requires regular computer work, with extended hours or off-site travel when required or requested by management.
