About The Position

The Credit Analyst II is responsible for assisting with underwriting new commercial loans and maintaining the health of the existing commercial loan portfolio. Works with more independence than the Credit Analyst I, with primary focus on median and complex loan analysis.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Proficiency in computer applications, Word and Excel.
• Credit analyst experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree or 4 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of bank operations and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Spreads financial data.
• Prepares in depth analysis and cash flow shocks based on customer/loan type.
• Prepares narrative analysis of findings and identifies trends, strengths and weaknesses and makes recommendations.
• Conducts credit investigations as requested using 3 rd party and other resources and conducts collateral evaluations and audits.
• Assists in managing financial expiring documentation.
• Monitors borrowing base and other loan covenants.
• Participates, with account officers, on customer and prospect calls when necessary.
• Assists in special projects as needed.
