About The Position

The Credit Administration Professional I is responsible for efficiently facilitating commercial loan closings, ensuring accurate processing and servicing commercial loans while providing high quality customer service. This position works closely with Credit Administration Professional II, Commercial Lending, and other Credit Administration employees to assist in meeting department and Company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with customers, colleagues, management, and external stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of loan documentation criteria and 504 financing requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a face-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years of lending documentation, commercial construction administration, or paralegal experience preferred
  • Paralegal Certification a plus
  • knowledge of LaserPro a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and assemble commercial loan closings from approval through funding, ensuring all required legal and supporting documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage loan closings following approval process, completing documentation files in accordance with approval documents, Loan Policy, and Company procedures
  • Collaborate with the Credit Administration Professional II to support workflow efficiency, departmental initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Stay current on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence
  • Partner with commercial lenders, customers, attorneys, title and insurance companies, and other third parties to obtain required information, complete required documentation, and maintain updated files
  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files by verifying required signatures, dates, lien documentation, and collateral perfection to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Process related general ledger entries, payments, and correspondence in timely and accurate manner following established procedures
  • Engage external professionals (e.g. environmental engineers, legal partners, etc.) as needed to support loan due diligence, documentation, and issue resolution
