About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH Physician Partners is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator. This role coordinates the appointment, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes for medical and allied health staff members in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining medical and allied health staff members’ information in existing systems and providing information to requesting departments, hospitals, and agencies. Additionally, this role plans, coordinates, and performs administrative activities for medical staff meetings and special affairs, assisting the manager and committee chairs with fulfilling required functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of payer enrollment or provider credentialling experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Web-based products proficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business administration
• Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credential(s) from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
