Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years’ work experience.

Responsibilities

Work closely with physicians and Associate of Managed Care Operations to obtain credentials and/or EMR access with hospitals in all OSH markets.
Support the verification processes with government agencies and insurance payers.
Provide formal, detailed documentation of professional histories to these groups on behalf of physicians.
Thoroughly track the credentialing process to ensure follow-through from start to finish.
Maintain online and paper database of highly sensitive physician information and paperwork.
Assist with physician onboarding.
Ensure physicians maintain necessary credentials, such as licensure and enrollment with CMS.
Provide regular updates on credentialing progress to other teams within Oak Street Health.
