About The Position

The Credentialing Specialist, under the supervision of the Physician Services & Recruitment Supervisor, performs a variety of duties in support of the Physician Services Department.

Requirements

• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Must be detail oriented
• Must meet deadlines
• Must coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must possess a valid Kentucky Driver’s License
• Ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day
• Use basic office equipment and perform repetitive motions
• Must have visual and auditory acuity
• Must be able to drive an automobile

Nice To Haves

• Formal training which will be indicated by a high school diploma, and a minimum of 8-10 years health care credentialing experience or college degree in health care administration or related area
• Knowledge of credentialing software a plus
