Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Nice To Haves

Experience in a medical office is preferred
Previous credentialing experience preferred
Knowledge of credentialing standards, payer enrollment processes and regulatory requirements preferred
Experience with provider database or electronic health record systems preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing, submitting and tracking initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications to insurance payers
Verify the accuracy and completeness of provider applications, ensuring that all required documents are submitted
Conduct thorough license verifications, and references to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain up-to-date, secure and accurate provider files
Monitor expiring licenses and credentials
Stay up to date with industry regulations and requirements, ensuring compliance at all times
Update CAQH with demographic changes along with monitoring Medical Licenses, DEA Certificates and Board Certification to ensure no lapse in coverage/participation
