SynergenX Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Administrative Assistant to support our growing credentialing department at our corporate office in Northwest Houston. Position Summary The Credentialing Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the credentialing team by maintaining provider documentation, tracking compliance requirements, and assisting with credentialing processes. This role helps ensure that providers meet regulatory and payer requirements so they can deliver uninterrupted patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of healthcare administrative experience preferred
  • Exposure to provider credentialing, licensing, or medical staff services strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with credentialing software, CAQH, or DocuSign is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and submission of provider credentialing and recredentialing applications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files, both electronic and physical
  • Track and monitor expiration dates for licenses, DEA registrations, certifications, and malpractice coverage
  • Upload and maintain documentation in credentialing software and online portals such as CAQH
  • Follow up with providers and internal teams regarding missing or expiring documents
  • Support communication with third-party credentialing and enrollment vendors
  • Ensure provider demographic and practice location information is current with payers and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare files and documentation for audits and internal quality reviews
  • Provide general administrative support to the credentialing department as needed
