About The Position

Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring part-time and full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) at their South Boston and Everett hospital locations. The anticipated starting hourly rate is $24 to $34 per hour, with the specific rate determined by the candidate's experience, skill level, abilities, and education. Banfield is a leading general veterinary care practice focused on preventive pet care, aiming to create 'A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS'. They support CVTs in working at the top of their license and foster a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care
  • Build close relationships with pets and the humans who love them
  • Upon approval from supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments. All appointments must be under the direction and supervision of veterinarian and in compliance with state law.
  • Work closely with teammates and cultivate a positive, dynamic work culture
