About The Position

At VCA Valley Animal Hospital, in South Windsor CT, you can be the Veterinary Technician you have always wanted to be! We are a 4 doctor, full service hospital located just outside of Hartford Ct. that has served the community for over 30 years. We have a collaborative culture in our hospital that values each person’s individual skill and personality. We treat each patient, pet parent, and team member like part of the family! We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our medical team. This role is suited for the experienced licensed tech, but we are also excited to provide developmental training to someone that is just getting started and wants to move forward in their career at a hospital that provides an array of opportunities to develop a multitude of skills. Candidates must be positive and motivated. The hospital team meets frequently, and your ideas and suggestions are encouraged to help us continue to grow. Responsibilities

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
