About The Position

Mueller Veterinary Services is hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician for a full-time position. This is a mixed-animal practice with four doctors, focusing on high-quality medicine within a supportive team environment. The role encourages technicians to utilize their full skillset daily. Requirements

• Licensed (or eligible) Certified Veterinary Technician in Illinois
• Strong technical skills, including anesthesia and dentistry
• Confidence in patient handling (small and/or large animals)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
• Commitment to continued learning and professional growth

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work
• Conduct dental cleanings and radiology
• Provide high-quality nursing care for small and large animal patients
• Educate clients and build strong relationships
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and teammates
