About The Position

Pieper Veterinary is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) to join our Oncology Department at Pieper Veterinary Stratford in Stratford, CT. As a valued member of our Oncology team, you will work alongside specialists to provide exceptional care for patients undergoing cancer treatments and therapies. From chemotherapy administration and patient monitoring to client education and emotional support, you will play an integral role in delivering the highest standard of medicine while helping pets maintain the best possible quality of life. Requirements

Current CVT, LVT, or RVT credential required.
Strong knowledge of anesthesia and patient monitoring.
Phlebotomy experience.
Strong understanding of client service principles, including client needs assessment, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar, spelling, and composition.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred.
Previous experience or knowledge in oncology and chemotherapy is highly desirable but not required.
Familiarity with EzyVet is a plus but not required.
