We're looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) who enjoys building relationships with clients, advocating for patients, and being an essential part of a busy, high quality general practice.
Requirements
- Current Veterinary Technician license/registration/certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT as applicable)
- Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills
- Experience with venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and radiology
- Excellent client communication and education skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a team first mindset
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory testing, sample collection, and diagnostic imaging
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Help create a positive experience for patients, clients, and fellow team members
