ITG requires a talented and highly self-sufficient Creative Technologist to identify client challenges and rapidly turn them into demonstrable, technology-led solutions. This is a role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, is comfortable working both independently and alongside other creative talents, and is excited by the pace at which modern AI tooling allows ideas to be prototyped and proven. The core of the role is a short, focused cycle: identify a genuine challenge or opportunity for our client, then spend a concentrated period — typically around a week — using AI tools such as Claude Code to build a working, demonstrable solution. These prototypes do not need to be production ready, but they must be polished and compelling enough to present to a client audience and show, tangibly, how technology could solve a real problem. Solutions will frequently make heavy use of AI: prototyping with AI coding tools, and building solutions that themselves incorporate AI agents, LLMs, models, and MCP services. The Creative Technologist is expected to stay at the leading edge of these tools and techniques, and to bring a strong point of view on where they can create value for the client. The role works closely alongside a creative software designer and Creative Director, feeding ideas in both directions — helping to identify the right problems to solve, and shaping the wireframes and proposed user journeys that support each solution. Beyond that partnership, the role is deliberately autonomous: the successful candidate will research, decide, and deliver with limited support from the wider team.
