About The Position

Mammoth Brands is seeking a versatile Creative Strategist to lead the creative direction for their Mando brand. This role involves end-to-end ownership of creative across various ad formats, including concepting, briefing, creator operations, and final sign-off. The strategist will work within a talented senior creative team, serving as a sounding board and partner, with opportunities for rapid growth and learning. Mammoth Brands, formerly Harry’s Inc., is a modern CPG company with a portfolio of brands including Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie. They aim to create better products and experiences, challenging the status quo in the consumer packaged goods industry. Founded in 2013, the company has developed a playbook for brand growth and scaling, maintaining an entrepreneurial culture while making a significant positive impact through community donations.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in creative strategy, content production, performance marketing, or a related field.
  • A track record of owning creative for a brand or product line, not just contributing to it.
  • Hands-on experience editing video (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Solid direct-response or performance advertising experience, understanding what drives conversions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work from rough briefs or raw footage.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of receiving and applying creative feedback.
  • Genuine taste and the ability to execute creative ideas.
  • Hunger to drive creative calls and own a brand.
  • Obsessed with the customer and understanding the target audience.
  • A proactive, 'whatever it takes' operator who gets things done.
  • Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Energized by and comfortable with new tools, including AI creative platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience running creator operations end-to-end (sourcing, briefing, contracting, whitelisting).
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., AdCreative.ai, Midjourney, Runway, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Own Mando creative across Stills, B-Roll, and Partnership/UGC ads, leading concepting, briefing, and sign-off.
  • Partner with the senior strategist on TV spots, assisting with agency selection and co-leading creative review.
  • Manage all creator operations for Mando partnership and UGC work, including sourcing, briefing, contracting, payment, and whitelisting.
  • Develop original ad ideas, including hooks, concepts, and scripts, for feedback and refinement.
  • Recut and remix existing ads to generate high-volume creative iterations with fast turnarounds.
  • Collaborate with video editors to transform existing footage into new ad concepts, providing clear briefs and creative review.
  • Cut and produce ads independently when necessary.
  • Quickly learn and become proficient with new tools, including AI creative platforms, editing software, and growth analytics.
  • Stay informed about customer insights by monitoring ads, comments, and reviews to guide creative decisions.
