About The Position

WMC, Action News 5 in Memphis, TN is looking for a Creative Services Producer to join their award-winning team. This role involves conceptualizing, producing, writing, editing, and sharing compelling, emotion-driven advertising and content marketing across TV, social media, cable, radio, and more. The ideal candidate is a storyteller who thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment and wants their work seen by thousands every day.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional camera and editing skills.
• Natural communicator who can collaborate professionally and effectively with both internal WMC team members and external partners.
• A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A clean driving record.
• Flexibility to occasionally work weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with DSLR equipment.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, produce, write, edit, and share compelling, emotion-driven advertising and content marketing across TV, social media, cable, radio, and more.
• Develop cutting-edge commercials and promotional spots for the Memphis, TN market, owning every step from concept to completion.
• Utilize expertise in creative scripting, shooting, and non-linear editing to craft standout content.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit compelling commercials.
• Partner with the marketing team on station promos.
• Play an active role in all aspects of commercial production.
