About The Position

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Creative Producer for Creative Operations to play a central role in ensuring creative work moves efficiently, collaboratively, and on strategy from intake through final delivery. This is a facilitator role with a deep understanding of the business, partnering closely with Marketing Project Managers, Creative Leads, Strategy leads, and other partners to coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables while respecting and supporting the creative process. The Creative Producer will also work in close collaboration with the Director of Creative Operations to implement workflow improvements, document and optimize Creative processes, and support operational excellence across Creative. Success in this role is defined by smooth project execution, strong cross-functional relationships, and consistent delivery of high-quality creative work that meets organizational goals. This is a fully remote position that can be home-based anywhere within the U.S.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, Creative Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in creative production, creative operations, or project management at a creative agency or in-house team
  • Strong understanding of the creative and production process across multiple channels, including print, digital, video, social, and experiential.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other project managers, creative teams, marketing partners, and operational leaders.
  • Experience managing complex creative projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance operational rigor with flexibility, empathy and respect for creative workflows.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with Director of Creative Ops and Creative Directors, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and creative expertise across cross departmental projects, with a focus on tier 1 and 2 projects.
  • Coordinates and manages the day-to-day flow of creative work, keeping projects moving forward while maintaining visibility into status, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Participates in creative development and production meetings, ensuring alignment on objectives, milestones, and final deliverables.
  • Manages the development and production of print and digital marketing efforts, including TV, radio, print, digital video, social media, websites, banners, and experiential initiatives.
  • Interfaces with Marketing Project Managers and key Marketing leaders to ensure projects remain on track to meet agreed-upon milestones and expectations.
  • Provides clear direction and operational support to creative teams, helping define tasks, deliverables, and next steps while removing obstacles to progress.
  • Supports the Creative Operations Director in implementing new workflow solutions and optimization efforts, contributing to continuous improvement across Creative Operations.
