About The Position

Lifeway is seeking a Creative Producer to lead video and media projects from concept through final delivery, bringing compelling stories to life that serve ministry, marketing, and communication goals. In this role, you'll own the full production process — managing timelines, coordinating crews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring every piece of content reflects Lifeway's brand and theological voice. This position is based within the Nashville metropolitan area and requires flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel. Lifeway has a strong Work from Anywhere (WFA) culture that is deeply focused on our mission and values. While headquartered in Nashville, TN, many of our positions are remote-eligible and have autonomy and flexibility with work hours. We provide equipment and resources to ensure team members have access to a productive and ergonomic workspace. We believe building relationships and community is essential to how we work together, so Lifeway hosts all-team meetings several times per year and provides travel for key team gatherings for remote-based team members. This is a hybrid remote/in-office position located in the greater Nashville, TN area and relocation assistance is available.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Film, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience - required
Ability to travel to the Middle Tennessee area 2-4 times annually for team gatherings
5+ years of hands-on video production experience, including leading planning, execution, and delivery of media projects
Technical familiarity with HYFI, its theological foundations, developmental progression, and how sessions connect across the scope and sequence
End-to-end production management from concept through delivery
Storytelling, treatment writing, storyboarding, and stakeholder pitching
Production logistics and crew/vendor coordination
Budget monitoring and contract oversight
Clear and effective stakeholder communication
Familiarity with a variety of content types (curriculum, devotionals, marketing, internal communications)
Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church

Nice To Haves

Master's degree - preferred
Experience with location scouting and on-location coordination
Budgeting experience at the project or department level
Familiarity with casting, voiceover, or translation workflows

Responsibilities

Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
Leads day-to-day production for video and media projects, managing pre-production planning, shoot logistics, timelines, and crew coordination
Partner with internal teams across departments to clarify project goals, align messaging, and ensure content is delivered on time and on brief
Contribute to production briefs, story outlines, and resource planning to shape creative direction and maintain continuity
Review finished content for theological accuracy, brand alignment, and clarity, coordinating with ministry leaders as needed
Manage vendor relationships, production schedules, and workflow coordination to keep projects moving efficiently
Monitor project budgets and assist with contract oversight, tracking costs and approvals across assigned productions
Adapt plans in response to stakeholder feedback, shifting priorities, or ministry needs while keeping quality and delivery timelines intact
Apply knowledge of industry trends and research to keep Lifeway's content innovative, relevant, and engaging across content types including curriculum, devotionals, and marketing
Moderate travel, occasionally overnight
